Kitchens, baths and additions

Remodeling that still has to work the day the crew leaves, not just look good in a photo.

Home additions, kitchens, bathrooms, layouts, plumbing and electric, and handyman repairs, from a loose hinge up to a wall that has to come out.

Chapter 01

What opening the wall actually turns up in a Crosby house

Houses in and around Crosby run from postwar frame construction to builds barely a decade old, and the older ones tend to hide the same handful of surprises once a wall actually comes open. A run of galvanized pipe that was due for replacement years ago. Wiring that was never grounded to begin with. Humidity damage behind the drywall that never had anywhere to vent to, in a part of Texas where it rarely gets the chance to dry out on its own.

None of that is a reason to stop the job and hand you off to somebody else. Plumbing and electric are both on our own list of services, alongside handyman repairs that run from basic fixes to more complex problems, so what gets found behind the wall gets priced and handled as part of the same estimate rather than a second phone call to a second contractor.

Keeping a kitchen or bath usable while it is a job site

A full remodel does not mean the rest of the house stops functioning. We section off the work area, run containment to keep dust out of the hallways and the rooms nearby, and sequence the trades so the parts of the house you are not touching stay livable while the parts you are touching come apart.

In a house with more than one bathroom, we plan the order of work so at least one stays usable for as much of the job as we can manage. In a kitchen, that usually means holding off on disconnecting plumbing and appliances until the layout and cabinet work ahead of it are actually ready, instead of tearing everything out on day one and leaving a family without a sink for longer than the job requires.

Chapter 03

The punch walk before we call it finished, and the one year warranty behind it

Before we call a remodel done, we walk it with you, room by room, and write down anything that still needs a second look, a touch up, a hinge adjusted, a seam that wants another pass of caulk. That list gets closed out before the job leaves our books, not left for you to chase later.

That walk is also where the one year warranty starts counting. Boudreaux's is licensed, bonded and insured under RCC #47470, and every completed job carries a full year of coverage behind it. If something we did is not right inside that year, we come back and put it right.

Boudreaux's has been remodeling homes in and around Crosby for over fifteen years, residential and commercial, licensed, bonded and insured under RCC #47470. Call (281) 328-1739 for a free estimate.

Every remodel ends the same way: a walk through the finished rooms with you, and a one year warranty behind whatever we signed off on.
